Utility Division

History

Gaylor Electric was formed in 1985, servicing the commercial/industrial electrical market. From phenomenal growth and success, Gaylor Electric acquired the assets and management of a sole proprietor company serving the electric utility industry. This purchase let to the development of the Utility Division in 1993.

Pride in our Growth and Reputation

Due to the integrity and values of company personnel in combination with an attitude of service, the Utility Division has grown from primarily an Indiana concern to a widely-respected team that works throughout the Midwest. Starting from a few pieces of equipment and a handful of personnel, we have grown into a division with over sixty qualified craftspersons and in excess of forty pieces of line construction and repair equipment.

Our Clientele

Although the Utility Division’s clientele primarily consists of Investor Owned, Municipal, and Rural Electric Utilities we also service companies and projects with any medium to high voltage needs. Our customer list now includes some of the largest power utilities in the nation. Our services range from construction and maintenance, procurement, to engineering and complete turnkey projects. We also install and service long-haul fiber optic projects.
