Project Description
Meadow Lake Wind Farm is located in northwestern Indiana's White and Benton Counties. It has an installed capacity of 200 MW (megawatts), which is enough to power approximately 60,000 average Indiana homes with clean energy each year. The wind farm consists of 121 turbines and achieved commercial operation in October 2009.
Gaylor is working on the interconnect switchyard upgrades. These upgrades include installing nine additional 345kV breakers into the existing AEP switchyard facility in two phases. Since the wind farm has already achieved commercial operation, our company will be working on these breakers inside of a live substation.
