Energy Saving LEED Solutions
Gaylor has the expertise and knowledge to design and provide energy saving solutions to help owners obtain a LEED certified building.
- Daylight Harvesting
The basic concept of Daylight Harvesting is very simple: When sufficient daylight is available, the artificial light automatically dims to the appropriate level. Sensors are used to balance the amount of electric light and daylight which saves energy while maintaining a constant level of light in the room. - Occupancy Sensors
Occupancy sensors provide light when needed and save energy when rooms are unoccupied. - Fluorescent and LED Light Fixtures
Fluorescent and LED light fixtures offer long lamp life and are highly efficient in the proper application. - High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.)
Bi-Level switching control with occupancy sensors can be used to achieve energy savings in applications that will require H.I.D. lighting. - Save Energy by Dimming
Dimming will save energy and extend the life of halogen and incandescent lamps. Longer-lasting lamps mean fewer are going to landfills which will reduce waste.
