Who is Gaylor, Inc.?
To really get a grasp on Gaylor today, you must look back to how and why we started.
John Gaylor had ideas on how a business could operate, but could not find one to work for that completely shared his same thoughts and ideals. So he started his own in March 1984 for the purpose of engaging in all types of electrical construction activities. From the very start, Gaylor was determined to provide the industry’s best service and job performance for the client while providing the best in wages, equipment, benefits, and continual education and training for the employees… and do this as a merit shop! Well, I guess you can see that the business model worked!
Values and Adaptability
Gaylor has had steady and consistent growth by being uncompromising on the core values on which the company was founded and by finding clients, vendors, and employees who share these ideals. We only settle for win-win-win situations.
A key to our continued success has been our ability to remain adaptive to the market---never becoming stagnant or inflexible. Gaylor is more like “a living organism” than an organization. We consistently look to stretch beyond our current capabilities so we can be ready for advances in the electrical industry.
Today and Beyond
We are proud of our history, but do not dwell there because we are too busy making the most of today. We are also excited about the future…because that is where we will live!
