High School Summer Internship Program
Our high school summer internship program is our premiere nationwide preparatory experience. This eight-week program (June & July) introduces students to entry-level experience as a Gaylor team member. Interns work forty hours a week while gaining valuable experience as a professional and insight into the opportunities available in the construction industry.
ABC Prep Academy
ABC Prep Academy is a close partner of Gaylor Electric’s. Many of their high school juniors and seniors are given early access to summer internships. Collaborative events, workshops, and workplace tours happen in collaboration with the ABC Prep Academy.
High School Career Fairs, Profession Panels, and Classroom Visits
We regularly visit area high schools and career academies to assist our K12 partners in any way needed. We attend a very large number of career-focused events (both during the school day and evening engagements) and are always happy to assist our exceptional partners in the world of K12 education.
The Crossing
Gaylor Electric proudly hosts The Crossing, a high school focused on multi-faceted academic, work- based learning, and emotional support for students at our Noblesville Production Innovation Center.
School Year Internships
We coordinate with local high school students who show interest in our work-based learning offerings in our Production and Innovation Center. Students earn high school credit from their host school while learning and applying technical skills.
Tours and Presentations
We offer regular tours of our operations locations for high school CTE programs. We are always proud to show students a glimpse into the career opportunities that Gaylor provides, and we enjoy the relationships that we form with CTE educators across Indiana.
