PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Coil is a modern, luxury apartment community located in Broad Ripple Village, Indianapolis. Situated alongside the Broad Ripple Canal, this marquee project creates an iconic gateway into Broad Ripple Village. Residents have the added luxury of direct elevator access to the new 33,500 square foot specialty Fresh Thyme grocery store anchoring the site. The Coil includes 151 high-end apartments ranging from studio, up to 2 bedroom units and townhomes.
Gaylor Electric was awarded the original contract for the apartment complex, without the additional commercial space. However, after the original electrical contracting company was dismissed from the jobsite, Gaylor Electric was trusted to complete the Fresh Thyme market. Through fabrication, Gaylor Electric was able to pre-assemble key components, ultimately saving the General Contractor time and money. Gaylor Electric was able to install the complete electrical system for this complex in March of 2017.
