PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Top Golf is an advanced outdoor sports complex designed to host golfers year-round, in multi-level climate controlled bays. The Top Golf build in Fishers, Indiana was one of the first facilities that required special accommodations for large quantities of snow and ice. This was made possible by installing heat-trace netting within the concrete of each golf target.
One of the jobsite challenges this project presented, was the need for the heat-trace cabling to be installed in temperatures higher than 40 degrees. As a winter build in Indiana, the weather has been totally unpredictable! By bringing this section of the installation in-house, our Gaylor Electric Fabrication Team has….
- Avoided trade scheduling conflicts
- Allowed for no lost time during inclement winter weather
- Alleviated the need for our field crew to crawl on the frozen dirt to install heat trace wire in the plastic netting
Once the heat trace nets were completed, they were delivered to the Top Golf jobsite, ready for our crew to install.
