PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Gaylor Electric began this design assist project with 3D BIM technology to digitally model the installation and coordination of the electric drawings for the hospital. The pre-existing facility was renovated by adding a 21 story, state-of-the-art Cancer Research Center, on The Ohio State University campus.
Gaylor Electric provided progressive engineering, constructability reviews, specifications, and code reviews of the various systems and equipment used in the preconstruction phase of the project. Following the preconstruction phase, Gaylor Electric‘s certified team members installed complete lighting and control systems, including: lightning protection, fire alarms, emergency, critical, and life systems, and safety power distribution. At the time, this project was the largest construction project in progress in the state of Ohio.
