ABOUT THE
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

At Gaylor, you don’t just get a job, you build a career that lasts a lifetime.

Through our four-year apprenticeship program, you’ll receive full-time employment, hands-on training alongside a certified journeyperson, and classroom instruction. This schedule follows a traditional semester format, allowing you to earn while you learn.

To achieve journeyperson status, the U.S. Department of Labor requires apprentices to complete four years of related classroom instruction and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training (OJT). Throughout the program, you’ll gain the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to build a successful long-term career in the electrical trade.

Launch a Career. Master a Trade. Build Your Future.
