NHA 1&2 data center is a dual 40MW bar type configuration with an administration building connector. This is the typical H configuration for this Client. Power is distributed from a dual fed utility connection at 160KV utility substation. From that point the client distributes power through various duct-bank systems across the site for redundancy.

On top of the dual utility feed there are 37 generators that provide 480v backup power to the building and various systems. There are four utility telecommunication feeds that follow the same redundancy pattern with site specific separation.

This project required the coordination of multiple systems in the building including, cable tray, lighting, underground conduit, overhead conduit, security, telecommunications, reserve power, mechanical power, fire alarm, lighting controls, grounding, substation, and lightning protection.

At peak of underground construction, 4 tractor trailer loads of flat pack modular conduit skids were shipped from prefab warehouses to the site for installation. SBE with the ability to innovate prefab into this design, was able to be the first site to install all underground conduit prior to the erection of steel.
