What does a Crew Leader do?
Crew Leaders pull from their wealth of experience to guide the work and care of the journeypersons and apprentices in their crews. Crew Leaders are responsible for the on-site management of assigned construction tasks/projects and assigned field personnel within their crew to ensure the scheduled completion of the project within the established budget, time, and quality standards.
What skills are required of a Crew Leader?
Crew Leaders must have a well-rounded knowledge of electrical installation methods and be able to keep up and track their crew production against the project schedule and budget. They will be responsible for daily tasks pertaining to safety, laying out job tasks, requesting material or equipment, and interacting and updating the customer or other jobsite supervision on the project’s progress.
