NOBLESVILLE, IN | May 7, 2026 – Gaylor Electric recognized 10 students during a Graduation and Signing Day ceremony for The Crossing, the company’s integrated high school education program. The event celebrated students who either graduated and accepted full-time positions with Gaylor Electric or committed to summer internships with the company.
The Crossing blends traditional classroom instruction with hands-on, real-world experience in the skilled trades. Students split their day between academic coursework and applied learning at Gaylor Electric’s Noblesville campus, with dedicated classroom and school facilities located directly adjacent to Gaylor’s Production & Innovation Center.
Students who accepted full-time positions will enter Gaylor Electric’s four-year apprenticeship program. Upon completion, participants earn journeyperson certification while gaining paid, on-the-job experience and graduating without educational debt.
“Watching students graduate from The Crossing and accept internships or full-time opportunities is a powerful reminder of why programs like this matter so much. These students chose a path that fit who they are, leaned into learning a skilled trade, and showed what can happen when commitment meets opportunity”, said Chuck Goodrich, CEO of Gaylor Electric.
Zack Durnell, Regional Director for The Crossing, added, “This is far bigger than a graduation or signing day. Today represents hope, opportunity, and a reminder that when education and industry unite with purpose, lives and communities can truly change.”
The Graduation and Signing Day recognized the achievements of all 10 students as they take the next step in their education and career pathways within Gaylor Electric and the electrical industry.
