Combining design assist procedures with BIM enabled Gaylor Electric professionals to coordinate MEP layouts. This joint effort helped designers detect any clash between trades prior to construction saving time and money for the client.
Gaylor Electric produced 3D BIM drawings of the entire electrical distribution system including seven 15KV medium voltage unit substations, three 15KV medium voltage switchboards, 20 277/480V switchboards, 15 2,000A automatic transfer switches, 30 runs of 800A busduct and approximately 100,000 feet of rigid conduit and feeders.
Gaylor Electric’s scope included the entire electrical infrastructure designed to support technologically advanced medical equipment and research facilities.
